At Recycle Techs we know that there is more equipment being replaced with faster, more hi-tech machines. Old equipment is being stored away taking up your precious office space or being disposed of improperly posing an environmental threat. What we offer is a secure and cost-effective way to get rid of your retired computers and other office equipment safely and by conforming to EPA standards.
Recycle Techs is the first stage in the E-waste recycling process. All collected equipment will first be inventoried, tagged, and have all data securely removed from the drives or other data storing devices. After all needed repairs are done, products will be resold or donated. All broken and unfixable equipment will have all asset tags removed and then will be rendered unusable. Destroyed equipment will be dismantled in our facility and go to a local precious metal extractor. They will remove all toxic metals from circuit boards and monitors to be reused or disposed of properly.
To regulate computer disposal Recycle Techs will not dispose or resell computers outside of the United States. Computers shipped overseas are not subject to the same hazardous waste disposal practices as within the US. Many of the computers overseas end up in landfills or disposed of improperly.
